"Jared, all the girls loved you as well as their parents...we were so blessed to have you as our tour guide!
I love New York and will definitely come back and when I do, we will look you up! Thanks again."

"An amazing glimpse of NY's Lower East Side..."

We booked a tour with Jared Goldstein... It was a fantastic glimpse into the lives of the Jewish, Italian and Chinese immigrants living in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

We walked and talked for almost three hours and stopped in many restaurants and stores for mini-visits and refreshments along the way. Jared pointed out lots of interesting places and shared many "inside" stories; he also shared additional suggestions if we wanted to extend the tour on our own.

I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of NYC whether they are native New Yorkers, or not!

Review of my World Trade Center Tour

Jared was patient, as two of us arrived at the tour a few minutes late. He handled an awkward intrusion in a funny, professional manner at the start of the tour. The level of information he shared was top notch and full of detail, but also sympathetic and caring.

Overall, a very nice young man doing an emotional job in a sacred place.

Jerry* was very knowledgeable and really excited to show me the city; I could tell he loves New York. And it was contagious!
Jerry* knew the history of all the places we visited, and was able to answer all my questions. Plus, he gave me pointers on what other places I should visit on my own.
Jerry* was fun and engaging, and really showed me New York he knows and loves. It was my first time in this city and I would definitely get another tour when I come back. Thanks for a great tour and delicious pizza, Jerry!"

Regarding a private tour to Greenwich Village:

"... Ellen and I very much enjoyed our time with you in NYC. Your knowledge and on the fly tour decisions made it a fun and educational day for us. Your help made my first NYC experience a great one. Hopefully we will see you again on our next visit."

Tour guide Jared Goldstein is smart, warm, and lively and his command of all things Santa /Christmas is almost preternatural for a nice Jewish boy. The thesis of his tour — Mr. Claus was born in New York and this city more or less invented Christmas-as-we-know-it — is convincingly presented with intriguing facts and terrific stories. His route — Federal Hall, Gramercy Park, Madison Square, and beyond — takes us to sites that are both classic New York beauties and perfect settings for his Christmas spiel.

Jared Goldstein was more than we could have wished for! He was not only knowledgeable in his guide but was lots of fun. Very personable. Our group was from Waco. Tx, all of us loved Jared !!!

Jill
Our tour guide, Jared Goldstein, was just great — very knowledgeable, witty, and entertaining.

Victor
Me and a friend took the Heroes of the World Trade Center Tour in late April with Jared and it was one of the best things of our trip to New York. Jared made us understand more about what happened that day and how it affected the city and the people that lived and still live there. It was emotional but inspiring at the same time.

Visitor from Portugal
He was brilliant. It was amazing to get to know about the heroes of the WTC. I had the chance to talk with Jared afterwards about several aspects I was interested in. I can absolutely recommend this tour to all visitors of NYC!

Marc from Essen, Germany
Jared our guide wove poetry and literature into pointing out to us the sites. He told personal stories and gave great recommendations for coffee shops and restaurants. I will be spending more time in the village next time I'm in the city.

Sarah
He is very knowledgeable about the financial history of New York, and it is clear that he is genuinely excited to show people around and tell New York's story in order to educate people as to the path of the city to being the world's financial center.

Thanks, Jared! From your repeat customers from Chicago and Nebraska.
